Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What material produces the best rosin yield?
+
Premium flower with high trichome density typically yields 18-25% rosin. Dry sift and hash can yield 40-70%, but starting material quality is crucial. Fresh, properly cured material (55-62% RH) always performs better than old or dry material.
How much pressure do I need for optimal extraction?
+
More pressure isn't always better. For flower, we recommend starting at 800-1500 PSI at the bag. Hash and sift need less pressure (400-800 PSI). Too much pressure can rupture cell walls and contaminate your rosin with plant material.
What's the ideal humidity for pressing?
+
Material should be between 55-62% relative humidity. Too dry and your yield suffers; too wet and you risk water content in your final product. Use humidity packs to rehydrate material if needed before pressing.
How do I clean and maintain my press?
+
Clean platens after each session with isopropyl alcohol while warm. Check hydraulic fluid levels monthly. Keep the frame clean and dry. We recommend a deep clean and inspection every 6 months for commercial units.
Do you offer financing for equipment purchases?
+
Yes! We offer multiple financing options including equipment financing, lease-to-own programs, and business lines of credit. Approval typically takes 24-48 hours, and we work with all credit profiles. Use our financing calculator to estimate payments.
What's the warranty on Access Rosin presses?
+
Our Pro series comes with a 3-year warranty, while Elite and Commercial units include a 5-year warranty. All warranties cover frame, hydraulics, and electrical components. We also offer extended warranty and service packages for commercial operations.
