Frequently Asked Questions

01What material produces the best rosin output?

Fresh-frozen or well-cured, properly stored, well-preserved, high-quality material presses best — grade matters more than volume. Our Temperature Guide breaks down press settings for premium, mixed, and coarse or washed material.

02How much pressure do I need for optimal pressing?

Enough to fully express the material without scorching it — more force is not always better. Access Rosin presses run from 8 tons (AIR) and 20 tons (FLUID) up to 100 tons (KWÄD), so you can match force to batch size and plate area. Start moderate and dial it in with the Temperature Guide.

03What's the ideal humidity for pressing?

A controlled room in the 40–60% relative-humidity range keeps material and finished product stable. Our Cold Room Calculator helps size climate control for your space.

04How do I clean and maintain my press?

Wipe the plates with a food-grade, non-abrasive cleaner while they are warm, keep the frame and hydraulics clear of residue, and follow the schedule in your equipment manual. The 304/316 stainless surfaces are built to wipe clean and hold up to daily use.

05Do you offer financing for equipment purchases?

Yes. We offer case-by-case financing and leasing on capital equipment — apply on the Financing page and our team will walk you through the options.

06What's the warranty on Access Rosin® presses?

Every press carries a 1-year limited warranty on the frame and platens and a 2-year warranty on electronics and heating components. Full terms ship with the machine and are summarized on the Warranty page.
