Extracting at temperatures any warmer than -40⁰F (-40˚C) results in dissolving undesirable compounds including lipids (fats and waxes) and chlorophyll. If these are dissolved during extraction, they need to be removed via further expensive processing down the line. Ultra Low Temperature extraction ensures consistent and high-quality end-products such as downstream products.
