The Pro Ice-Less Kit is optional but highly recommended for commercial operations. It eliminates the need for bags of ice by using a multi-stage heat exchange system to achieve optimal 28°F water temperature. This saves on ice costs, reduces labor, and provides more consistent temperatures throughout your wash cycles.

Wash bags are used during washed-material production to filter fine particulate from source material in cold water. They're larger (45-gallon capacity) and designed for the Smart Agitation system.

Rosin bags are used inside the press to contain material during pressing. They're smaller, designed to fit various plate sizes, and prevent source material from mixing with your rosin.

Yes — especially at the collection step. Pressed rosin is hot, liquefied, and terpene-rich the moment it leaves the plate, so how long it stays on the heat, how much surface it exposes to air and light, and how many times it is handled all shape the finished product. It describes a design where the extract discharges through a single drain into a seated collection cylinder, rather than being spread open on a plate and scraped off. Functionally closed does not mean sealed or hermetic — the drain is still open to room air — but it presents far less exposed surface and far fewer open handling steps than an open flat-plate press.

No. Micron sets the mesh permeability, but the bag's construction — where the seams sit, whether the base tapers, whether folds or flaps trap resin — sets the flow area and path length just as much. A blowout is usually a flow-path problem, not just too much pressure. When flow is choked — by a bottom seam across the exhaust path, or a tapered base collapsing and closing channels — pressure builds inside the bag until a seam fails. The patent-pending V3.7 geometry is designed to keep defined channels open under load and relieve that pressure.

White glove delivery and installation services are available for an additional fee.

Our 1-year limited warranty covers the press frame, platens, and structural components against manufacturing defects. Heating elements and electronics are covered for 2 years. Normal wear items like seals and consumables are not covered. The warranty is registered to the original purchaser.

To clean rosin bags for reuse:

• Immediately soak used bags in ice water after pressing
• Agitate gently with gloved hands to release resin
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water
• For stubborn resin, pre-soak in 90% isopropyl alcohol for 10 minutes
• Air dry completely before storage

With proper care, quality rosin bags can be reused 3-5 times.
