Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation systems and processes, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and requirements.
- Create detailed project plans and timelines for automation projects
Program logic controllers (PLCs), develop and maintain control systems (architecture and documentation) for automated machinery.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform root cause analysis on automation failures and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to design tooling and fixtures for automated processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Utilize software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and CGMP to design automation systems.
- Provide technical support and training to production teams on the operation of automated equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of automation principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in programming logic controllers (PLCs) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems.
- Experience with blueprint reading, machining, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with software tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and CGMP.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation failures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
